Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar a pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Step 2: Whisk Dry Ingredients

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients and then set aside. I always whisk the dry ingredients first because you don't want a wet whisk in your flower.

Step 3: Whisk Together Wet Ingredients

In another medium sized bowl combine the liquid ingredients.

Step 4: Mix the Wet and Dry

Then whisk both wet and dry together until a batter is formed. I add the dry to the we bowl because you can get all the stuff out of it wheres the opposite you will leave behind oil and sugar causing you to need a rubber spatula. Nobody wants more dishes then necessary.

Step 5: Cook Them

In a greased frying pan at medium heat cook the batter to desired size. When the batter starts to bubble on top flip the cake over and continue to cook until the cake springs back up when you touch it.

Step 6: Hope You Enjoy

Makes bout 8-12 depending on size. You can add blueberries or chocolate chips if you want to mix it up but if you are trying to add bananas you need to tweak it a little. Please remember to subscribe to my cooking channel, just follow the link below.
