Introduction: Easy Lego Magazine.

In this instructable i will be showing you how to make a pretty simple lego magazine that takes
1x4 rounds. The magazine works off a simple but really smart idea.
Real gun magazines have springs in the bottom, lego doesn't have springs so we use rubber
bands... This magazine uses a brick and a rubber band to kinda act as the spring in a normal mag.

Step 1: What You Will Need.

For this instructable, you will need:
1x base, at least 3x6 preferably 4x10 like mine.
2x 6x1 pieces.
2x 3x1 pieces.
1x 1x4 with three holes.
2x 1x4 smooth pieces.
Lots of 1x1 pieces, depending on your mag capacity, the more the bigger.
Lots of 1x2 pieces, depending on your mag capacity, the more the bigger.

Step 2: Constructing the Magazine.

In this step we start off with that big flat 4x10 piece.
You need to place a 1x4 flat piece somewhere at least 1 in from each side.
Then you will begin to make a small "u" shape around each side of the flat piece.
For each layer you do, make the arrangement opposite for strength...
So, if you had a 1x1 sticking out there before, put the 2x1 on there the next layer etc...
Keep stacking until you have an acceptable size, i only did it small for instruction purposes.

Step 3: Constructing the "Spring".

Now you need to construct the "spring" part of the magazine.
It is made up of:
2x 1x4 pieces.
1x 1x4 flat smooth piece.
1x 1x4 with holes.
1x long pin.
Construction is pretty straight forward... You can see from the pictures...

Step 4: Constructing the Top of the Magazine.

In this step you will construct the top part of the magazine.
This is the part that plugs into your gun.
You will need:
2x 1x6 pieces.
2x 1x3 pieces.
2x 1x1 pieces.
4x 1x2 pieces or 2x 1x4 pieces.
So, you put the 1x1 on the 1x3 like in the picture then the 1x6 onto the 1x3 so they look like a rectangular hole. You should have something that looks like a bridge shape.
Then fill in the gaps underneath with 2x1's or 4x1's.
You should have a two story thing with a 1x4 hole in the middle, yes?

Step 5: Putting the Magazine Together.

Now we come to the time when you assemble the magazine in all its glory.
Start by putting the "spring" part from step 3 down the magazine like the first picture.
Then we put the top on the magazine like the second picture.
And that's pretty much your magazine right there. Lets move on to ammo.

Step 6: Ammunition for the Magazine.

There are two main types of ammunition i like to use in my guns.
The first is a 1x4 piece with a 1x4 flat piece on top. This is okay but it doesnt fly that well.

The second kind are mu favorite, they are two 1x1's stacked on top of each other with
a cone at the top, these fly great and fit the mag well.
Which ever you choose is fine, doesn't bother me.

Step 7: Attaching to Your Gun.

In this step i will show you how to attach the magazine to your gun.
With these magazines and my gun its pretty much plug in and play...
You plug the magazine into the gun, put a rubber band around the pin at the base and
you can do one of two things.
1. You can have a pin located on your pin right above the magazines pin that you hook a rubber band around like i have or.
2. you use one rubber band and it stretches all the way around the gun to the other side of the magazine.
