Introduction: Easy Monster Bookmark
Here's my Instructable on how to make an adorable little monster bookmark in a little less than 15 minutes
Step 1: Supplies Needed:
A square piece of card stock or craft paper, scissors, white paper, black paper OR black rhinestones (for the pupils; I used black rhinestones, but paper works just as well), glue stick
Step 2: Crease Your Cardstock
Make a crease both ways on your paper, making it look like 4 equal squares. Easiest way is to fold it in half horizontally, then unfold and fold vertically.
Step 3: Cut the Lower Right Square Out
Make sure you cut the Lower Right Square Out, not the other ones
Step 4: Fold and Glue
To the left of the cut out, fold in the paper, making it a triangle. Glue it shut. Above the cut out, fold outward, making it triangular.
Step 5: Cut and Glue More
Cut out some teeth out of the white paper, in a strip. Glue it to the folded piece in the upper right corner. Glue the folded piece together. Fold it inward, and take the first piece you glued together and fold it over the teeth piece. Glue it down.
Step 6: Eyes
Cut out some white circles and paste them down. Afterwards, glue the pupils (rhinestones or paper) wherever you want.
Step 7: TADA! DONE!
You're done! Make different sizes, and have fun with it! The more you do it, the faster you can get them done =)

Once you get the first one done, it takes no time at all. I don't remember where I saw a similar bookmark, as I made the original one a few years ago for my husband, who's going to school for his PhD. It could have been pinterest, I don't know lol. I actually unglued the original one carefully, and put it back together in order to figure out how I made it lol

You're welcome! My husband actually started school to get his PhD, so I I made him one a few years ago. I forgot the steps, so I unglued the original one carefully, and put it back together lol My oldest daughter is a senior in high school now, so I made her a few, too.

Thank you! What couldn't you understand, though? I tried to be as thorough as I could.
