Introduction: Easy Oven-baked Pancakes

The outer edge of the pancake is nice and crispy and the center is pillowy and soft
I hate standing over a stove in the morning flipping pancakes for my family
I saw a recipe on oven baked pancakes and saw how fluffy they turned out, I had to try them out
Of course they are not as unique as the pan made pancakes
This recipe is for those who are in a hurry in the morning but still have time to make a delicious breakfast than the usual, doughnut and coffee
This took about 20 minute to cook
What I usually do is make the batter the night before and pour the batter in a pan and place in the oven
A tip is to add a little water to make the batter a little watery
This pancake is also called German pancakes

Step 1: Ingredients

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

3 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

1 tbs white sugar

1 1/4 cup milk

1 egg

3 tablespoons melted butter

Step 2: Steps

Beat together the egg and add milk
Continue beating and add oil or melted butter
Add flour, baking powder, and salt
Mix and if it is too thick add water
Make a test by taking a spoon and grabbing batter and drizzling the batter in a bowl so it disappears
Take a pan and add oil
Spread the oil around and add the batter until the entire bottom pan is covered
Place in the oven for 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until the tips are browned
Broil the top for 5 minutes or until browned
If you get enormous air bubbles while baking,poke the pancake with a fork
Take out the pancake and place on the plate
The bottom of the pancake will be light and fluffy
The top is nice and crispy
Drizzle with your favorite toppings

Step 3: Results

This recipe was a lot easier then the pan made pancakes
They turned out a lot fluffier
This was so easier, I probably won't go back to the pan made pancakes
