Introduction: Easy Peanut Butter Cool Whip Pie With Optional Oreo Crust

This is a very simple and easy peanut butter cream pie. It only has 6 ingredients and no need to cook. It is one of my Favorite pies by far. It doesn't take long at all and it isn't very hard to make

If you choose to make the crust it takes an hour to refrigerate,
and you will obviously need to do those steps first.

Ingredients
2 ounces cream cheese softened
3/4 cups peanut butter
3/4 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
8 ounce tub of cool whip
1 Oreo cookie crust ( or any crust you prefer, I just love chocolate and peanut butter )

Crust Ingredients
6 tbsp butter
Oreo cookies

Step 1: Making Your Filling

In a large bowl, mix peanut butter and softened cream cheese with hand mixer.
Add powdered sugar and milk. Mix very well making sure to get the bottom, it tends to not get any attention.

Step 2: Adding Your Whip Cream

Add whip cream in small amounts. Fold into peanut butter mixture.
It may be necessary to stir a bit.

If you have purchased store bought crust just spoon pie filling into crust.
If you refrigerate pie when completely made it will become firmer.

Step 3: Home Made Oreo Crust (not Necessary They Were Out of Oreo Pie Crusts)

Now I should tell you that this is my first time ever making the crust and it doesn't come out very pretty
But it does taste incredible, its a lot better than the store pre-made crust.

Separate cream filling from Oreo cookies
put Oreos into a food processor and grind till fine

Step 4: Starting Crust

Take your 6 tbsp of butter and cut into cubes.
Microwave in safe bowl for 40 seconds
Put cookie crumbs into pie pan and pour in butter
Using a fork stir/mash crumbs and butter til it is completely combined

Step 5: Finishing Crust

When the crust mixture is complete use a spatula and your fingers to spread in evenly,
completely covering the bottom and bringing it up the sides.
Now when putting the crust on the sides its necessary to use your fingers,
If you use the spatula it wont get very high and it will collect in the corner.
Refrigerate one hour.

When done, spoon pie filling into crust.
If you refrigerate pie when completely made it will become firmer.
