Introduction: Easy Simple Paper Wreath

Today I'm gonna walk you through how to make your own simple paper wreath, I hope you enjoy.

Step 1: Gather Supplies

Supplies

1. white Elmer's glue

2. scissors

3. a pencil

4. 1 piece of card stock or thick construction paper

5. 1 or more colors of tissue paper amount needed will vary based on the size of your wreath

6. a small piece of scotch tape

7. a 4 inch long piece of ribbon

Step 2: Cutting the Shape of Your Wreath

Take your card stock and your pencil then draw out whatever shape you would like your wreath to be, I am going with a heart for Valentine's Day.

Once you have drawn out your desired shape take your scissors and cut it out.

Step 3: Putting Your Wreath Together

Take your tissue paper and cut it into small squares, you can use whatever colors of tissue paper you would like, i chose to go with red, pink, and white for Valentine's Day.

Now take a piece of tissue paper and crumple it up into a ball.

Now take your card stock that you have cut into your desired shape and start to glue the crumpled up tissue paper around the edge of it.

Step 4: Continue Filling in Your Wreath

Continue around the edge of your card stock with your tissue paper.

Once you have finished going around the edge of your card stock take your bottle of Elmer's glue and spread it around the inside of your card stock.

Step 5: Finish Up Decorating Your Wreath With Your Tissue Paper

This is the step where if you have more than one color of tissue paper its a good idea to bring in more colors.

Now take the rest of your tissue paper and just continue filling in your card stock with your tissue paper until you think its good.

Step 6: Making Your Wreath Hangable.

once you have let the glue dry take your ribbon and a small strip of scotch tape and tape it to the back of your card stock.

Step 7: Finally Finished

All done thanks for following along and I hope you enjoyed.
