Introduction: Edible Nutella Slime / Play Doh

About: I love to tinker and make things from other things. I post videos on my Youtube channel that showcase some of the silly homemade inventions and gadgets that I mess with. I'm also the guy with the most viewed …

In this Instructable, I'll show you how to make edible slime / play doh using Nutella!

Here's what you'll need:

  • Nutella (1 tablespoon)
  • Corn Starch / Corn Flour (1 tablespoon or more)
  • Condensed milk (200ml or 7oz)

Other items you'll need :

  • Mixing utensil, such as a spoon.
  • A stove

Step 2: Pre-heat Pan at Low Heat

The first step is to switch on your stove and pre-heat a pan or pot at a low heat. You don't want to set it too high as excessive heat will burn the condensed milk.

Step 3: Add Condensed Milk

Once your pan has warmed up, pour in your condensed milk. Remember, we'll only be using 200ml/7oz of this delicious stuff so be sure to not exceed this amount.

Step 4: Add Nutella

Next, add 1 tablespoon of Nutella. Adding too much Nutella might cause the mix to caramelize a bit so be sure to stick to the recipe.

Step 5: Add Corn Starch / Corn Flour

Depending on where you are from, you'd know this ingredient by different names.

Add 1 tablespoon of corn starch / corn flour and mix the ingredients together until combined.

Step 6: Keep Mixing

Once combined, remove off heat and cool down at room temperature.

If your mix does not thicken after 10 minutes, simply add more corn starch / corn flour until you are happy with the texture. The mix does tend to get sticky after a while so adding more corn starch / corn flour may be necessary.

Step 7: The Result!

After about 10 minutes of cooling down and adding few more table spoons of corn starch, I ended up with a slimy play doh - like result.

It did taste yummy but, not exactly like Nutella. I'd say it tasted a lot like nutty cookie dough.
