Introduction: Eeyore
I made this for my mom for her birthday. It was based very loosely on this pattern: http://www.etsy.com/listing/61614276/pdf-eeyore-the-winnie-the-poohs-donkey
Unfortunately I didn't have the money to purchase the pattern, so I just made vaguely the same shapes. I didn't write an actual pattern for this guy, either... I was rushed. :(
His head is pear shaped, his body is egg shaped, his legs are.... leg shaped, his ears are kind of leaf shaped, the hair and tail were made with loop stitch. The tail is not sewn on, either - just pinned.

Does his tail detach occasionally?

Ditto Kiteman's question because that would be so adorable!

It can detach, because I didn't sew it on at all - I figured just pinning it would be more like the actual Eeyore. But it stays on pretty securely otherwise. :)

So cute! I generally don't buy patterns either because I can just look at something and break it into the elements in my mind. You are quite resourceful! The cool thing is if you can do this you can design your own stuff too! I just designed one this weekend and hope to have time to type up the pattern tonight.
