Introduction: Eggless Veg Omelette & Bread Toast
Eggless Veg Omelette is similar to the actual taste of Egg Omelette.The Eggless Veg Omelette is mainly for those who follow the Vegetarian Foods or do not like egg recipes.This recipe is prepared with Besan or Chickpea flour and Maida.Chickpea flour is High in Protein and Low Calories.Add vegetables of your choice to make it more healthy and nutritious.
Also I prepared Bread Toast with the same Eggless veg omelette batter.The bread is dipped in the eggless veg omelette batter and Toast it in a hot pan.This bread toast recipe is too good and I hope everyone like it.
Step 1: Supplies
Chickpea flour - 1/4cup
All purpose flour
Maida - 1 Tbsp
Oil - 1 Tsp
Onion - 2Tbsp(finely chopped)
Coriander - 1Tbsp (finelychopped)
Green chilli - 1 (finely chopped)
Salt - 1/4 Tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 Tsp
Bread - 2 slices
Water - 1/3 cup
Step 2: Flour Mixing
In a bowl take 1/4 cup besan or chickpea flour and 1Tbsp maida and 1/4Tsp salt.
Mix all the dry ingredients well.
Add 1/3 cup water and whisk smooth for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Making Omelette Batter
Add onions, green chilli and coriander leaves and whisk well.
Make sure the batter is smooth flowing consistency.
Step 4: Cooking
Heat the pan and grease it with 1Tsp oil.
Pour the batter into the hot pan and spread it.
Allow to cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Sprinkle 1/4Tsp of pepper powder and Flip over and cook the other side as well.
Step 5: Plating
Serve it hot the delicious Eggless Veg Omelette is ready to eat.
Step 6: Bread Toast
To make the Bread Toast, dip the bread slices in the same Eggless Veg Omelette batter both sides.
And Toast the bread slices on the hot pan with some butter or oil.
Cook on both sides until golden brown.
