Our electronic cardboard house does 2 really cool things. One, when you close the door the window lights up. Two, when you press the doorbell it buzzes!! Learn how to make it now!!!!

Step 1: Gather Supplies!!

For this project you need:

Cardboard Box
Box Cutter
Hot Glue
Felt
2 Regular AA Batteries
Sony Round Battery
Battery Pack
Copper Tape
Wires
Wire Cutters
Red Button
Buzzer
Alligator Clips
2 LED's

Step 2: Set Up Your Box

First, you have to cut out a door with the box cutters and poke a hole where you want your doorbell. Then you can cut out your window and add felt for the curtain.

Step 3: Build Your Doorbell Circuit

Next you should make your circuit for the doorbell. I suggest doing it outside of the house first. For the circuit you need to have alligator clips, a buzzer, wires, wire cutters, AA Batteries, A battery pack and a red buzzer. When you connect it, it should look like this.

Step 4: Paper Circuit

To make your window light up when you close the door you need two LED's , cardboard, copper tape, tape, and a sony round battery. First you need to hot glue a piece of cardboard the size of the door in front of the door. Then you should make a stand to put the LED's in. Position the stand so that it is facing the window. Then you connect the copper tape from the back of the battery to bottom legs of the LED's. Then to finish the circuit you should connect the copper tape from the door the the top legs of the LED's. Keep in mind the positive and negative sides to the batteries.
