Introduction: Elephant Out of a Dollar Bill.

Make an elephant using a one dollar bill in order to bring you good luck.

Supplies

All you need is a dollar bill, your hands and a bit of patience. Crisp bills make better looking elephants but lightly used ones are easier to fold.

Step 1:

First you need to fold one of the sides into a triangle, you will need to fold it twice in order to get a long pointy side on the bill.

Step 2:

Fold the bill in half length wise in order to form the two sides of the elephant.

Step 3:

Next step is to make a series of folds in order to form the legs and the tail of the elephant. In order to make this correctly you need to fold one side towards the head and the "back" part of the leg towards the tail. You need to space them out evenly so that the legs look good on the elephant. In order to form the tail, you should end up with a tiny bit of paper which you fold into a very small triangle towards the head, make sure to pinch this part tight.

Once you have the previous steps done, fold the bottom "flap" of the dollar in order to finish forming the legs.

Step 4:

The next step involves folding the head back over the front legs, once it looks like the picture pull the head up in order to make the trunk point down and make the first of three folds on the trunk creating the ears. Then proceed to make two folds in order to make the trunk point towards the sky. Once this is finished you should have a nice looking elephant that you can keep in your wallet for good luck.
