Introduction: Elsa's Door From the Movie Frozen
I wanted to share how I made Elsa's door from the movie Frozen for a school play. I failed to take pictures of the door being assembled on the platform. But ultimately what I wanted to share were the images so you can recreate the look of the door.
Step 1: Pick Your Door
If you are going to make this for a play you'll need a door, I was able to get mine for free from my local hardware store, if they do custom doors they will have a lot for you to choose from. If you are going to decorate your child's door then you just need to paint it white.
Step 2: Create Your Images
To make the images I used Corel Draw and my vinyl cutter. If you don't have a vinyl cutter, you can always print out the images and then cut them out. It won't look as nice but if you just need it to last a little while it will look fine.
Step 3: Apply the Images
The last thing you need to do is to apply the images to the door.
Step 4: And Your Done
The main goal with this instructable was not to show you the fine details of creating and cutting out vinyl images. My main goal was to share the images I created so that other could use them to recreate the door however they would like. Also I was sick and tired of sellers on Etsy selling these images, when they do not have the licensing rights to do so.
Hope you enjoyed it and it was usefull.
I have attached the Corel file, if you would like a different file type let me know and I will try and convert it.

Hello and thank you so much for creating this. I was wondering if there’s an SVG file for the Elsa’s door? I’m decorating our classroom with a frozen theme and this would be perfect. Thank you!

Hello! I love this so much! I was wondering if you had the ability to change this into a .svg or a .studio3 file by chance? I have a Silhouette Cameo and would love to be able to cut this all out! THANK YOU!!!!

How did you build the frame around the door? This is amazing, thank you!

So sorry I was not getting notifications for this, just saw your question. The posts are actually 2x4's attached to the base and the door, it does not open. then I made a small frame out of 1x2's and thin plywood to give the large dimension without much weight.

Thank you

Thank you so much for sharing this. My 4 yo daughter is a huge frozen fan and will love this!
And yes, SVG!! Both cricut and silhouette primarily use SVG format. I can’t upload PDF or the Corel format you have posted. I’m looking for a file converter atm, but since I’m using an iOS device my options are a bit limited

Are those 4x4 posts around the door for the frame? And I am also looking for an SVG file if you have one. This is awesome!

What are the names of the colors, if I wanted to paint this?

This looks great! I think that crating stencils could also be an option for those of us that lack with a vinyl cutter.
