Introduction: Energy in a Jar!
Energy in a Jar!! Sounds interesting right?? Energy bites mix packed into a mason jar makes an attractive gift for any occasion.
For this Christmas holidays, I am planning to gift this energy jar to my surroundings.
It is super simple cute gift made with healthy ingredients. We all need more energy during holidays, so that we can have more fun. This gift is for to boost enery level.
Energy bites recipe is no-bake version, so it's easy to make them too.
Use color printer to make the fancy labels and decorate the top of the jar with ribbon or holiday themed fabric.
Happy Holidays :)
Step 1: Ingredients
Ingredients and things required
1 cup Rolled oats
1/4 cup Butterscotch chocochip
1/4 cup Raisin
1/2 cup Cereal
1 pint Mason jar
Makes : 15 to 20 balls
Step 2: Layer the Ingredients
Use funnel or fold paper like funnel shape. Keep the funnel in mouth of the jar and start layering the ingredients as listed order.
Step 3: Add Label and Instruction
I used online editing tool www.picmonkey.com for making these tags.
I created two types of label. One for Name label and other for energy bite recipe label. Recipe Tag is very important because that will provide instructions on how to prepare energy bites.
Take print out of these two labels and trim it carefully using Scissor and punch a hole in recipe label and insert thread on the hole. Recipe tag and name tag is ready.
Stick the Name tag on the Mason jar lid using Glue.
Close the lid carefully. Tie the recipe tag on neck of the jar.
I uploaded the recipe tag image. you can use that. In case you are designing your own labels, here is the instruction for Energy bites.
* Take jar ingredients in a bowl, add 2 to 3 tbsp of peanut butter. Mix well and roll them into 1 inch ball. Freeze it for an hour.

(Note : If you are allergic to peanut butter, add almond butter)
