Introduction: Experiments With Magnets and Copper Blocks
A series of experiments done with magnets and 1 kg copper blocks. This experiment works also with aluminium. The movement between a magnet and the copper block cause a series of transient "eddy currents" to induce in the copper and these currents will create a magnetic field that opposes the motion of a magnet. It's a stalling effect. there is lots of fun with you can do with this force.
