Introduction: Explosion Box Mini Album
Explosion boxes make sweet little scrapbooks and gifts for all occasions.
Step 1: Supplies I Used:
* 2 sheets of 12x12 White Cardstock (For Box)
* 1 sheet of 12x12 Pink Cardstock (For Box)
* 1 sheet of 12x12 White Cardstock (For Lid)
* Self Adhesive Rhinestones
* Pink Satin Ribbon
* 3D Foam Squares
* Double Sided Tape
Step 2: To Make the Box, Cut Your 3 Sheets of Cardstock As Follows
* Cut 1st sheet of white cardstock to make a square 9 x 9 inches
* Cut pink cardstock to make a square 8 5/8 x 8 5/8 inches
* Cut 2nd sheet of white cardstock to make a square 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches
Step 3: Using a Scoring Blade or Bone Folder, Score Each Sheet As Follows
* Score the 9 x 9 sheet 3 inches from each side
* Score the 8 5/8 x 8 5/8 sheet 2 7/8 inches from each side
* Score the 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 sheet 2 3/4 inches from each side
Step 4: Following the Score Lines, Cut Off All 4 Corners From Each Sheet
Step 5: Put Adhesive on the Backs of the 2 Smallest Sheets Just in the Centre Square Only. Layer the 3 Sheets Together
Step 6: To Make the Lid, Cut the Last Sheet of White Cardstock to Make a Square 6 1/4 X 6 1/4 Inches
Step 7: Score the Sheet 1 1/2 Inches From Each Side. Score Each of the 4 Little Corners
Step 8: Pinch the Corners and Fold Them Inwards
Step 9: Glue the Corners in Place. Use Paperclips to Hold the Corners Until the Glue Has Dried
Step 10: Decorate Your Box Inside and Out With Patterned Papers and Embellishments

How big is the actual box? And what size are the little squares from the individual pages.. I'm trying to figure out what size pictures I would need.

The finished product is a cube measuring 3 inches :)

You need to use cardstock or really thick scrapbook papers so the box keeps shape. Thanks for your interest.

Thank you for your kind words. This one is really pretty and was made for my BFF. It's amazing how each one I've made looks so different from the next. Using different themes and paper stacks gives each one a unique look. Thanks again :)
