Introduction: Extreamly Cool Phenomenon
Why playing with drano bombs one day I discovered a phenomenon that, according to a quick google search, no one has ever seen in the entire history of man. If that is not extreme I do not know what is, and its really cute too.
Step 1: Pressure
Step 2: Thats It

Just FYI, this is a felony in California. Very fun, but be careful.

not to burst your balloon, but you can get the same results by setting your oven on low, and putting the bottle in there for a while. or even using a heat gun.
We used to call all things like this "Shrinkydinkies"
you can do it with most thermoplastics.
It is neat though, to watch the balloon inflating(with hydrogen gas), as the bottle shrinks(from the heat)

Interesting, I thought it had something to do with the chemical reaction of the cleaner + the foil, breaking apart the bonds of the plastic causing the space between the atoms of the plastic container to contract thereby causing shrinkage. You're probably right, though I didn't feel any heat from the bottle.
