FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE - CLOUD STRIFE WATERCOLOR PAINTING

In this Instructable I will show you how I painted Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Step 1: Base Colors

I started painting first layers of watercolor paint on the face.

While this area was drying, I started painting the arm of Cloud.

I used a mixture of green, brown, red, and pink colors.

Step 2: Layering

When the first layer dried, I added shadows on the face and the arm.

I also started painting hair with a mixture of green, yellow, cyan, grey.

For the body, I used black and various blue tones.

Step 3: Last Layers

Once the painting is dried, I paint the background.

I used turquoise, cyan and blue for painting the background.

I also darken up the eyes using blue paint.

Step 4: Final Details

I draw details with black pencil.

Using white gouache, I add reflections and random stains on background.
