My porcelain cup broke during the first burning and I wanted to fix it in a way that changed its aesthetic expression.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Broken porcelain
Drill and drillbit
Cheramic oven
Acrylig paint
Nylon thread
Beads
Pilers
Crimps

Step 1: DRILL HOLES

Make small holes with a small drillbit. Focus on the edge where it is broken, but also place some holes randomly. It is important that this step takes place between the first and the second burning, as the porcelain is softer and more workable at this time. After the holes are made, burn the cup for it's final time.

Step 2: SKETCHES

Draw sketches. I ended up not following them, but it is an important step anyways.

Step 3: PAINT THE CUP

Paint the cup in desirable color, or leave it as it is. I used blue acrylic paint.

Step 4: BEADS

I used thread and beads to fill the broken part of the cup. To fasten the thread in the beginning and end, I used something called crimps, which are small metallic rings. Clamp the crimp with a small pliers.
