FPV in a Slot Car

Why not combine two hobbies to one. Slot car and FPV :-D

This is a remix of my chassis I use for SCX Compact DTM cars. I've modified it and made a canopy for the FPV-camera.

Step 1: Parts to Print

All parts are printed in PLA and need no support. The slide guide has a build-in support.

1x chassis

1x slide guide mount

4x axle bracket

1x motor mount

1x slide guide

1x main body (v1 or v2)

1x front body (v1 or v2)

Step 2: Parts You Need (BOM)

1x copper rod 3mm x 2.2mm (you need 4 pieces with about 5mm length)

9x M2 x 4mm screw

14x M2 x 5mm screw

1x AIO FPV-Cam

1x battery

3x rubber band

1x M2 washer

1x front axle of a slot car (e.g. Carrera Go, SCX Compact)

1x rear axle of a slot car (e.g. Carrera Go, SCX Compact)

1x motor of a slot car (e.g. Carrera Go, SCX Compact)

Step 3: Assemble Chassis

Glue the Slide Guide mount to the main chassis.

As this chassis works without magnet, it may be necessary to add some weight like lead

Step 4: Assemble Body

Glue the front body to the main body with CA glue.

Step 5: Attach FPV-Camera to the Body

Use the rubber bands to attach the camera and battery to the body.
