Introduction: FROSTED FLAKE CHICKEN TENDERS
This may sound crazy but my whole family agrees that these chicken tenders are awesome. Funny thing is my husband who is the least likely to eat sweets came up with the idea but he loves to try new things. The crunch of the corn flakes makes these a favorite with our family and the hint of sweetness mixed with the light seasoning salt makes for a wonderful combination to delight the taste buds:) They were so good and simple to make that we have made them a many times and last time I documented it so I could share with you...
Step 1: INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS...
1 1/2 pounds chicken
1c flour
3 beaten eggs
4 c frosted flakes
6T butter
Lawry's Seasoning Salt
Step 2: PREPARE STRIPS
Place each chicken breast between syran wrap and pound lightly until about 3/8" thick.
Cut into strips.
Step 3: CREATE AWESOME COATING
Dip each strip into flour, then egg, then lightly crushed Kellogg's Frosted Corn Flakes.
Step 4: COOK THEM UP
Melt 2T of butter in frying pan and add 1/3 of coated chicken tenders.
Cook about about 3 minutes on each side.
Remove all crumbs from pan and repeat the steps above.
ENJOY!

How hot of a pan? Low, med., etc?

I often use a combination of con flakes and Krispy rice cereal, but I never would have thought to use frosted flakes! It does sound intriguing. I think I'll try it next time I make chicken strips. My husband likes to dip his in honey, so he might like the sweet coating on this :)

My kids usually use sweet and sour dip but with these they liked them plain.Dipping in honey sounds yummy, I was also thinking about a pina colada type dip like I have had at the Red Lobster with the coconut shrimp:)
