Introduction: Fashionable Scrunchies

This is a very fun project to do it is simple and does not need a lot of work. This is a great project for those who are beginners or those who like to sew. This project only takes 15 minutes to do once you get the hang of it.

Step 1: Supplies

Some materials you need are...

  • Fabric
  • Scissors
  • Elastic
  • Sewing Machine
  • Needle
  • Thread

Step 2: Getting Your Fabric Ready

You are going to want to pick out your fabric and determine how long and wide you want it to be the longer it is the more scrunched up it will be. Next thing you are going to want to do is fold it in half and make sure the patterned side is in the inside. Then sew it long ways and do not forget to back stitch.

Step 3: Turning It

Now just turn it inside out so the pattern is on the outside and so you can't see the stitch.

Step 4: Elastic

First you are going to take your elastic and thread it though the material to make it scrunched up then sew the elastic together REALLY WELL.

Step 5: Last Step

The last step is to hand sew it, it looks best to do an invisible stitch but it is okay if it is showing. And now you are done with your scrunchies.
