Introduction: FauxBQ and the Not "ible" Ible
Let me start by saying this isn't really an instructable, its just an ingredient change to this previously posted "ible" https://www.instructables.com/id/Shredded-beef-or-pot-of-rags/ I hope it even qualifies, it barely qualifies as BBQ! I've had BBQ all over, both pork and beef and as tasty as this recipe is.... it's not done on a smoker or over charcoal but in a CROCKPOT! What it does do is turn a cheap cut of beef into a family pleasing meal.
Where the shredded beef recipe calls for using italian dressing substitute 1 1/2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup of apple cider vinager and (optional) 1/2 teaspoon of liquid smoke.
Serve it on toasted garlic bread or a soft bun, in a sandwich roll or tortilla and your favorite sides

I think I have 5 crockpots, I had 6 but I gave my gypsy brother the 2cup one ! They are the most used utensil/tool in my kitchen, soups, stews, beans, relishes etc etc, not only are they easy to use but in hot weather they don't heat the room like the stove/oven does, I even go one step further and put it on the porch. You can even clean metal parts, painted door hinges and doorkknob parts can be "cooked" on low in a 50/50 mix of vinager and water and after a couple hours the paint rinses right off, if you use it for rusty/greasy car parts please use a dedicated crockpot and dont reeturn it to kitchen use ! Thank you for commenting...
