Have you ever wanted to make your own cat toys out of felt? Although your little friend will see this as a challenge to destroy them as quickly as possible, this is still a good opportunity to bond with your cat and make you feel better about yourself :)

Here is a very simple guide on how to do this.

Supplies

Different colours of felt
Scissors
Needle
Thread
Scrap paper

Optional:

String
Stick
Feathers
Marker
Blu Tac

Step 1: Draw Your Designs

First, draw some simple designs on scrap paper. Keep in mind that it needs to be easy to cut these shapes out of felt. Make sure you have enough felt for your designs beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Step 2: Cut Out Felt

Cut the shapes out of the felt. You need two sides of felt for each shape, so you can sew them together later,

Step 3: Start Sewing Your Felt Together

Start using a blanket stitch to attach both sides of the felt together. Around a third of the way through, start adding the filling, and keep doing this until you're finished.
