Fillament Spool Roller/holder

Introduction: Fillament Spool Roller/holder

A thing, to put a couple of fillament spools. Those roll very nicely while draged by printer. Useful for multi-material printing systems.

3D printed parts (stl files attached).

2x Bearrings (5x22x12) or v-slot wheels (used in many 3d printer kits) per single roller

2x 10mm stell rods. Length does not matter much 500m rods are good enough to hold 6 spools.

6x M5 Bolts (30mm)

6x M5 Nut

Step 1: Step 1: Printable Parts

Get the parts printed. all should be printed on a side. Add supports for rollers (the onse that hold bearrings or wheels inside).

Step 2: Step 2: Assemble

Get everything assembled. This should be pretty straightforward.

In case printed pins are too tight - work them with sanding paper a bit. Then just hammer them into the holes. Don't forget to add the wheel or bearring.

Do not overtighten the parts holding the steel rods, as you might accidentally break them.

I did design this one, but his is not something new - there are lots of similar designs available on the web. I did my version with the thought to use the parts I already have availalbe at home ;)
