Fimo/Polymer Clay Ghost Tea Lights

Hello and happy Halloween!

In this instructable I am going to show you how to make this adorable little ghost tealight.

This instructable is actually a year late as I meant to make it last halloween after seeing a bunch of videos pop up showing these little guys but not how to make them.

And its really simple.

So lets begin

Supplies

What you'll need....

Polymer clay/Fimo: I'm using glow in the dark fimo but you could use any light colour.

Tin foil

an electronic tealight (NOT AN REAL ONE)

Something to make some holes with (I'm just using a wooded scewer)

An over to bake the fimo/polymer clay

Additional but not necessary

A rolling pin or somthing to help flatten it out but you can do this by hand

Something to trim the edges

Wet wipes to smooth it off

Step 1: Tinfoil

Mould your tinfoil into a small dome shap with the base bing the same circumference as the tealight.

You can actually just mould it round the plastic flame if that makes it easier for you, just remeber to take the tea light out before putting the fimo in the oven (dont worry I'll remind you later in the instructable)

Step 2: The Fimo

Flatten out your fimo and shape it into a circle. You can either do this by flattening it out and then trimming the edges or flatten it out from a ball.

Drape your fimo over the tinfoils and start to shape it into flods/.

Poke some holes into it to make eyes.

If you wish, smooth it off with the wet wipes.

Take the tea light out but leave in the tinfoil.

Put it in the oven to bake at the recomended temp and time of your polymer clay brand.

Once baked let it cool, remove the tinfoil (you may have to scrape some bits out)

Step 3: Finished

And there you have it, your own little tealight ghost

You can experiment with colour and size to give you a range of adorable little ghosties :)
