Introduction: Finger Knitting for Beginners
Finger knitting is a form of knitting that requires nothing but your fingers and yarn to create! It is extremely easy, and forms extremely quickly, so not much time is needed to make it.
Step 1: Gathering Materials
You need yarn of any color and scissors to begin with. The more yarn you have the longer you can make your knit!
Step 2: Getting Started
Weave the yarn in and out through your fingers until two “lines” of yarn are on every finger. Your thumb can be used, but I prefer not to. The next few pictures show you how to do it!

Step 7: How to Knit
Bring the lower piece of string up over your finger and the upper piece of string then let it go. Do that for every finger, then weave the yarn through your fingers again so two lengths of string are on every finger again. Repeat until desired length. Picture references are below.

Step 14: Changing Colors
Cut the string, but leave some on the end, enough to tie more string to. Get a different color of yarn and tie the ends of both pieces of yarn to each other, tight enough to not come off if you apply a small bit of pressure. Then continue knitting as usual.

Step 22: Ending the Knit
If you want to pause knitting, or want to end it, you take the loops of string off your fingers. Cut the end of the string and pull that through all of the loops. If you plan to continue later, don’t pull it through too tight, otherwise you’ll have a hard time getting it out. If you’re ending it, pull it through completely until it won’t move anymore. That’s it! You’re done and have a train of finger knit!
