Fire Hearth Type S Mortar/fix

Well if ever you happen to find a need to fill with and smooth out mortar (that might get in spots you don't want it in ) i found this to work really well and fast but messy in the end it works well ...this was something i was fixing in a home that was halfway put in by the past owner ..so like i do i work with what i have....
