Introduction: Fishless Fish Fry
Fishless Fish Fry looks like real Fish Fry and taste is too good.Due to this Lockdown we are not able to buy fish easily.So I prepared Fishless Fish Fry using Raw Banana as a substitute.It taste similar to Fish Fry.
Raw Banana is very Healthy.It is rich in Fiber, certain Vitamins Carbohydrates and minerals. I assure you that everyone Will like this dish.
Step 1: Supplies
Raw Banana - 2
Green chilli - 2
Garlic - 10 pods
Ginger - 1.5 inch
Red chilli powder - 1 Tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 Tsp
Salt - to taste
Egg - 1
Maida - 1 Tbsp
Oil - as required
Step 2: Cutting
Cut the Raw Banana into Oval shape pieces and make small hole to look like a Fish.
Peel the outer layer of the skin.
Step 3: Steaming
Steam the Raw Banana pieces in idly pot for 10 minutes on medium flame.
Step 4: Batter Preparation & Marination
Grind green chilli, ginger and garlic into fine paste.
Take that paste in a bowl and add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt and egg.
Beat well and add maida for binding.
Now take the steamed Raw Banana pieces and coat it with the masala.
Keep aside for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Frying
Heat the tawa and add 5 Tsp of oil.
Now put the coated masala pieces.
Fry it on medium flame for 3 minutes and flip over another side and fry for 3 minutes.
Step 6: Serving
Now the Spicy and Tasty FISHLESS FISH FRY is ready.
Serve it hot.
