Flip Doll

Intro: Flip Doll

I knitted this from a pattern from the early 80s I found in a thrift shop along with the yarn. The doll is in a yellow nightgown and sleeping. Flip her over/inside out and she is awake and in a blue dress, ready to face the day.

This doll is adorable! Great job :) I'm adding this to my long list of things to make.
These are often called Topsy Turvey Dolls. They are a cute idea - two dolls for the price of one. Jean Greenhowe has several patterns for these including Cinderella in rags and ball gown like the one I have knitted in my toys galore slide show. http://www.jeangreenhowe.com/jemima14.htmlhttp://www.jeangreenhowe.com/jemima12.html
