These are the materials to craft a Floating pen/paintbrush with magnets.

Step 1: How to Connect the Magnets to the Paintbtrush

Use a lot of tape to connect the magnets to the paintbrush. Make sure that the magnets are evenly spaced and that you measure them the same distance apart with a ruler.

Step 2: Transfer the Magnets

When you have taped both magnets to the paint brushes you can transfer them to a styrafoam board with a board at the end of it as seen in picture. After you finish evenly spacing the magnets make sure that the magnets poles are facing the same way.

Step 3: Finishing Up and Putting on the Divider

Now that you have measured and placed all of your magnets you need to make it float! put a divider about where the pencil tip ends and put the magnets on and drop the pencil and it will float!
