Floppy Disk Bling

Have you ever wanted to look so geeky that people laugh at you?!?!??! NO?? Well too bad!
This is great bling for the not so cool person that you are! Are you ready!?!?!? LETS GO!!!

Step 1: Find a Floppy Disk!!

Find a floppy disk drive!!! These disks are nearly extinct in the wide world of technology, so scavange your heart out!!!

Step 2: Take It Apart

take the floppy apart!! This is no time to be a wussy! well yes be careful, don't rip the disk. Just break apart the casing at the sides and corners, and take out the disk.

maybe i'll use the spare parts for another instrucables? who knows

Step 3: Get a Half Circle Piece of Metal to H-DOUBLE T Glue to the Disk...

Find a half circle, or some sort of loop and HOT glue to the plastic part of the disk(I tried sodar and gorrila glue but hot gluing was the victor) . I used a piece of voltage testing ring for the loop

heat up your hott glue gun and BE CAREFUL HOTT GLUEING CAN BURN YOU HARD!!

Step 4: Get a Chain

Get a silver or black necklace, I stole one from YOUR MOTHER!! haha just kidding, i'd never do that.
put the necklace throught the hole! then wear the awesome creation around your neck! Thats how you do it!!

Step 5: Fin

you are finished!!! good job!
