In this Instructable ,You will be able To Interface Flow Sensor YFS201 With Mediatek Linkit One Board.A flow sensor is a device for sensing the rate of fluid flow. Typically a flow sensor is the sensing element used in a flow meter, or flow logger, to record the flow of fluids. The Flow Sensor used in this Instructable is Of hall effect Type.

Step 1: Requirements

  • YFS 201 Flow Sensor
  • Mediatek Linkit One Board
  • Jumper Wires
  • USB Cable For Mediatek Linkit One Board

Step 2: Connections

The Connection of Flow Sensor with the Linkit One Board Is Really Simple

  • Red Wire :3V3 On Board.
  • Black Wire : Gnd On Board.
  • Out Wire: Digital Pin D2 on Board.

Step 3: Code,Compile and Run

Upload The Code and You Are Ready to Go !!!! You Can See The Output on the Serial Monitor which is showing The Rate of Flow!!!!! For Experimental Purpose U can Blow Air through the Sensor to Check The Flow Rate..
