Introduction: Flower Nail Pattern

In this instructable I will be showing you how to create this flower pattern. Of course you can do any color combination you'd like! Here's what you'll need; base coat/top coat, 3 polish shades, dotting impliment (toothpick, bobby pin, paperclip, whatever works. Lol) Ok! Let's get started.

Step 1: Base Coat

I always apply a base coat, it keeps your nails from staining and yellowing. I chose to use Sally Hanson Age Correct Growth Treatment. Please excuse my nails, I had dyed my friends hair the night before and stained my nails. :(

Step 2: Base Color

With the color of your choice paint your nails. I chose to do 2 coats of OPI's Nic Stick in Where's My Chocolate.

Step 3: Flowers

I took a hair clip and built up a dollup of polish on the end viola, dotting tool! Now to form the flowers I just put five dots in a circle... I also made a dotting tool out of a paperclip for smaller dots and made smaller flowers... Create any kinda pattern you like. Try to continue the pattern out past your nail. For this part I used Chanel Mica Rose. After you have all of the petals made put one dot of another color in the middle. I used Wet 'n' Wild Pink Petal Glitter.

Step 4: Top Coat

Apply your fave topcoat and clean up the edges.

Step 5: Optional

After you clean up the edges, use a super hydrating lotion. It is winter after all. ;) Enjoy, and let me know what you think about this instructable! Oh, here's a pic of my right hand as well... As you can tell I'm totally right-handed. Lol
