Introduction: Flowering Cherry Tree Painting

About: We love k'nex, 3d printing, electronics, painting and all sorts of other cool things.

This is a very easy painting and it is a lot of fun.

Supplies

You will need:

A 11"x14" canvas

Red, black, and white acrylic paint.

1 wide flat brush

1 medium round brush

1 small round brush

Cotton swabs

Step 1:

First, squeeze dots of white and black paint randomly onto your canvas.

Step 2:

Next, use your flat brush to smear the paint together. Let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 3:

When the paint is dry, paint a bare tree with black paint. It can be helpful to look at a real tree or a picture of one.

Step 4:

Use the red and white paint to make three different shades of pink. You also need some plain white. Make a bundle of five or six of the cotton swabs and dip them in the darkest pink paint, then stamp them on and around the branches of the tree. Repeat this with the other shades of pink and the white. Use new cotton swabs for each new color of paint. If you want, you can make some petals look like they are falling out of the tree.
