Introduction: Foil Man

Want to make stop motion animation on a budget? Why not try casting foil people to help. Foil man is quick and easy to make with the versatility needed for a stop motion figure.

Supplies

Aluminum Foil, Scissors, Ruler or Tape Measure, Maker

Step 1: Step 1: Supplies

Gather supplies:
Aluminum Foil, Scissors, Ruler or Tape Measure, Maker

Step 2: Step 2: Get a Square

Cut a 9 inch by 9 inch square piece of aluminum foil.

Step 3: Step 3: Divide One Side

Choose any side of the aluminum foil square. Measure halfway down the side (4.5 inches) and make a line 3 inches towards the center.

Step 4: Step 4: Divide the Next Side

On the opposite side of square, measure thirds (every 3 inches). Draw a line 3 inched on the foil from each third

Step 5: Step 5: Cuts

Cut down each line. (Three lines in total)

Step 6: Step 6: an Arm and a Leg

Starting with the side with a single cut, pinch one half gentle together moving towards the middle. As need squeeze the third closest to the half together as well towards the middle. The sections should be squeezed together into pencil like shapes.

Step 7: Step 7: the Other Arm and Leg

Repeat step 6 for the other half and the third not in the middle.

Step 8: Step 8: Head

Take the final third in the middle and squeeze into a ball.

Step 9: Step 9: Body

Squeeze the middle section together to make the rest of the body.

Step 10: Step 10: Forms

Squeeze and pinch any of the limbs needed until human proportions are perceivable.

Step 11: Step 11: Pose

Pose you foil person into the position needed. Bending the bottom of the legs will help your newest actor stand.
