Folding Towels in Quarters and Thirds

Grab a towel from the laundry pile. In this case we will use a bath towel.

Step 1: Lay Your Towel Out on a Flat Surface.

Step 2: Fold the Towel in Half.

Fold the towel in half by dragging the corners of the towel on the left to match those on the right. It should look like this when you are done..

Step 3: Fold Your Towel Over by Matching the Corners From the Left Side to the Right.

It should look like this when you are done.

Step 4: Fold the Corners Over Again From the Left to the Right.

It should look like this when you are done. Congratulations you've successfully folded a towel into quarters!

Step 5: Now Onto Thirds!

Lay the towel out on a flat surface.

Step 6: Fold the Towel One Third Over From Bottom to Top.

Fold the towel over from the bottom about one third of the way. It should look like this when you are done.

Step 7: Fold Your Towel in Half.

Fold your towel again in half so it looks like this.

Step 8: Fold the Towel Over One Third of the Way From the Right.

Grab the right hand side of the towel and fold it over a third of the way.

Step 9: Fold the Towel Over From the Other Side. You've Fold Your Towel Into Thirds!

Fold the other part over from the left hand to the right. It should look like this when you are done. Congratulations you have successfully folded your towel into thirds!
