Intro: Foreign Exchange Monitor

Exchange rates are the way to know the value of one’s currency in
another country’s currency. They vary at every given moment, thus, some constantly monitors it. Featuring the gen4-4DPi-50CT-CLB and Raspberry Pi 3 model B, this project uses the Flask microframework for Python3, along with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, to create a foreign exchange monitoring device.

STEP 1: Build

In this project, you will need the following:

HARDWARE COMPONENTS

  • gen4-4DPi-50CT-CLB – 5.0 inch Capactivie Touch Primary display for RPi
  • FFC Cable
  • gen4 4DPi Adaptor
  • Raspberry Pi 3 Model B

SOFTWARE APPS

  • MobaXterm
  • Foreign Exchange API by Fixer.io

BUILD
Build the circuit as shown in the schematic diagrams.
