Intro: Free Legal Music Downloads!!!!!!!!

I have known this technique for quite some time now and had kept it secret so that INTERPOL won't find out. Today I am here to share with you this tiny little known exploit in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. This act is open to edits every 3 years (including 2009) so you will be safe for the next 3 or so years.

STEP 1: Step 1: Downloads or Not

If you own a Windows computer you can go to http://www.didvideosoft.com/ to get a download "Free Video to MP3 converter", no virus or ad ware(Picture below). If you don't own a Windows computer or just don't wanna download something go to http://www.media-convert.com/ to convert the song.

STEP 2: Step 2: Get the Song

You need to find a "Clean" song. Non, I don't mean non-Explicit, I mean no added video with no sound, no Rick-Rolls, or annoying things the uploader/user added as a joke. Go to Wikipedia and search up the song to make sure the length is right.

STEP 3: Step 3: Convert

On media-convert.com click OK (Blue Button), On Free video to MP3 converter click the oddly named "Convert" button.

STEP 4: Step 4: Add to Library

I will show you how to import the song into either Windows Media Player or iTunes. In Windows Media Player, Click File, Then "Add To Library" or just press F3. A tiny dialog should pop up and press OK to scan the system for audio files. In iTunes, Click File, then "Import" or Control + Shift + "Q".

way off subject but how do you get the orange dot around your mouse
I think it's probably done with whatever screen capture program he is using.
oh OK is there a way I can get that on my computer just the highlighted mouse not the program?
Why is this supposed to be 'Legal'? What does this have to do with the DMCA and the triennial amendments to it? In the video you say(near the end) "remember, this is legal, I checked." Who did you check with? This is a good instructable in that it does detail a method to get music from the internet, but I think it needs to be rewritten to better explain why its legal, or possibly with a less misleading title.
Can't help thinking that taking copyrighted songs of YouTube using any method is stealing. Doesn't matter how you do it, your not paying for it, therefore someone loses out. If i'm wrong I apologise. Prove it
The point of the DMCA(Digital Mellinium Copyright Act) was to enforce law on the web/internet(there different), it was the direct result of the dot com bubble. Piracy hadn't yet became a issue till Napster. After a series of lawsuits against Google/Youtube(Google owns Youtube if you didn't already now...). This make sure all content on Youtube is passed threw a content filter. If it is legal to download a clip from youtube onto a Media Device, then why not convert that MP4 (MPEG layer 4(Quicktime, used by Youtube app on iPhone/iTouch)) into a MP3(MPEG Audio Layer 3)? That is my reasoning. If Apple gets something, why shouldn't everyone else?
I apologise if this is construed as being against the "be nice" policy but...
Try not to patronise people as I am a systems manager with 20 years experience. i can't help thinking that this is circumventing DRM so that makes it illegal.

Licenses can be tricky, but I think this one is pretty clear

Despite the video claims, I can't see any way that this is less illegal than any other violation of copyright.
