Introduction: Fringe Scarf
Take 30 minutes to make this fleece scarf.
Step 1:
Cut two pieces of fleece 30 inches long by 5 inches wide. Sew the length of the scarf two times about one inch apart and mirrored about the center.
Step 2:
Cut a piece of ¼ inch wide elastic 18 inches long. Tie one end of the elastic around a hanger formed into a hook. Insert the elastic in one end of the scarf between the two sewn lines. Sew the untied end of the elastic.
Step 3:
Pull the other end of the elastic out and untie it. Pin the elastic a couple inches from the end to hold in place while you sew. Sew the elastic.
Step 4:
Sew the two ends of the scarf together and trim any excess.
Step 5:
Make short cuts along the length of the scarf to create fringe.
Step 6:
Now bundle up your kiddo with your new fringe scarf!
