After a hot day outside, there is nothing better than a refreshing, cool fruit pizza. It makes a tasty dessert especially on a hot summer day. It looks stunning and tastes amazing
Step 1: The Ingredients for the Cookie Dough Base
220g butter (softened)
340g plain flour
195g caster sugar
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 large egg
Step 2: Making the Cookie Dough Base
Preheat the oven to gas mark 4/ 180c
Line a circular tin with aluminium foil.
Beat the butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy. Add the baking powder and vanilla extract. Slowly add the flour and egg little by little until you have a slightly firm, but not sloppy dough, if it is too sloppy add more flour and if it is too dry add a little bit of milk.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Step 3: The Ingredients for the Toppings
300ml whipping cream
4 kiwi fruits
1/4 of a fresh pineapple
a few strawberries
Step 4: Making the Paste
Whip the whipping cream and then spread it evenly on to the cookie dough base when it has cooled down.
Step 5: The Toppings
I put the toppings on in a way that I thought was appealing, but you can put the customise the toppings in your own way. I put each topping in a ring around the pizza, so they toppings would be equal on each slice.
