About: Stephanie shares DIY Projects, woodworking plans, room makeovers, remodeling, and craft projects. Her posts focus on remodeling, decorating, or furnishing a home in a stylish and affordable way.

Grab some supplies from Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, Walmart, or Amazon for this quick and easy DIY. See step by step details and instructions on my website.

Step 1: Preparing the Tray

Line a 4" deep tray or box with a heavy duty trash bag, a light layer of rocks, then indoor potting soil. Place your plants then cover with pea gravel and moss. I added a few larger rocks and wood discs to give it extra character.

Step 2: Making the Tray

The full steps are on my blog. This is such an easy DIY. I made this with fake and real succulents and great vintage decor.

The vintage camper, dog, and LED mini lights make this tray extra special. I also love this vintage VW bus birdhouse on Amazon. (aff)

Step 3: The Finished Tray

The finished tray is a great, unique conversation piece. Customize your own with your favorite items; birdhouses, fairy items, Star Wars figures, etc.

Step 4: The Family "Hall of Fame" Board
