Introduction: Fun Times End Table With Secure Storage!

About: I have had my share of medical problems since Oct. 28, 2007. I had a Aorta Valve replaced & 8" of my aorta. I am limited on what I can do, eat, & more. By the grace of God I think can be a pillar of strength …

I am a Thrifty person always keeping my eyes out as I roam Estate Sales, Garages Sales, Flea Markets looking for anything that I can pick up inexpensively and make something out of it. .

I found this small table at a Yard Sale. The suitcase I found at a Estate Sales. I put the 2 together & Voila!!

I had my husband attach the suitcase to the small table with bolts that were flush to the bottom of the suitcase.

I had some material that I picked up at a Thrift Store and glued it to the top of the suitcase tucking it into the rolled ribbing around the top of the suitcase and glueing it in place.

Then I went to work going with a color scheme that would be suitable for this day & age Baby Boomers or the off spring we raised or the Echoletic that matched the color scheme of the fabric I was going with. I used a medium Gray, Dark Red, & Black acrylic paint. I painted the inside with a White Acrylic and left the original elastic pocket in tact.

It turned out Awesomely & I had fun doing this project!!
