GREAT SUGAR COOKIES
Intro: GREAT SUGAR COOKIES
This recipe is quick,easy, and great. Good if you have a party in one hour and you haven't even started on your dessert. Give those Oreo's a break with these quick and easy cookies.
MATERIALS
1bowl 1 measuring Teaspoon
1 Measuring Cup
1 Mixer
1 oven
1 Egg
1 large bag of Flour
1 oven mitt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
cookie cutters
1 stone tray
1 cup of sugar
2 sticks of Butter
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
1 Electrical Outlet
1 small spatula

1 cup of sugar

STEP 1: Preheating
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit .
STEP 2: Supplies
Take out all the supplies and put them on the counter.
STEP 3: Butter
Put the 2 sticks of Butter in a bowl to soften.
STEP 4: Microwaving
Put the Butter (once it is softened) into the mixer.
STEP 5: Mixer
Plug Mixer into the Electrical Outlet, then measure out 1 Cup of Sugar. Pour the Sugar into the Mixer.
STEP 6: Mixing
Add 1 Egg to the mix.
STEP 7: Mixing
Turn the mixer on 2 until well mixed.
STEP 8: Mixing
Once mixed flip the power to 1.
STEP 9: Mixing
Measure and add 3 Cups of Flour to the mixture .
STEP 10: Mixing
Once the Flour is added, put in1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda into the mixture .
STEP 11: Mixing
The last part of mixing is to add1' Teaspoon of Vanilla. Then mix until one solid mixture , not separate ingredients in a bowl.
STEP 12: Freezing(optional)
Freezing is an optional thing that lets you freeze the dough until it is needed to be rolled and baked.
STEP 13: Flour
Grab a hand full of Flour and spread it out on the counter in about a1x3 foot space(use more Flour if needed).
STEP 14: Rolling
If you decide not to freeze than you can go ahead start rolling the dough out, in a pushing/ pulling motion all the while pressing down.
Tip: If the dough is sticking to the rolling pin then you can rub Flour over the rolling pin.

STEP 15: Rolling Some More
Roll the dough until about 1/2 centimeter thick.
STEP 16: Cookie Cutters
Get out the cookie cutters and cut out the cookies by placing the cutters over the dough and applying pressure.
Tip: Make sure the sharp side of the cookie cutters are pointed towards the dough.

STEP 17: Transfering of the Cookies
Once the cookies are cut use a small spatula to transfer them out of the dough and onto the stone tray.
STEP 18: THE OVEN
Place the tray into the oven. Set the oven timer to 10-12 minutes and hit start(or let it start on its own).
STEP 19: AT LAST ITS DONE
After the timer has gone off, put on a oven mitt and take out the tray.
