Introduction: Garden Swing Bench
I had that urge again - workshop urge, to go out there and construct something.
And behold - a garden swing bench.
The summer was about to begin and we needed a quiet corner in the garden to sit down in the evening to catch the last glimpses of sun.
------
This project was made based on my personal napkin sketches. I drew inspiration from UK swings manufacturer "Sitting spiritualy" - some fine furniture there.
Made out of pine, impregnated and laquered.
Dimensions: 4 x 15 cms for back support (waaaay too much wood used) . Top is a 4cm × 20 cm plank cut in the middle using a curve and then bottom cuttout is glued on top. Small strips are approx. 4,5×2,5 cms.
Smaller spacer at the bottom, larger at the top for the backrest angles.
Tools: jigsaw, screwdriver, pencil....
----
I do not have the photos of construction, but photos are quite self-explanatory.

Summer #mikehacks Contest
