This is very simple. Go to the Google play store. Search for Google opinion rewards. download. set up by signing in. and then they will notify you when a simple survey is available. fill out the survey and you COULD get up to $1 for each survey.

I've been participating for about 16 months and have earned a total of just over $80, so I've averaged around $5/month. YMMV, but most of my surveys are super-short and accordingly earn 10-30 cents. The surveys are not at all intrusive and you have a full 24 hours to get around to looking at them. I find the increased convenience of paying for apps with credits to outweigh the actual financial rewards. I've actively recommended this app to my friends, though I'm a little puzzled to see this useful tip presented as an Instructable.

I've been using this for a few months now and have made, probably, $25-30 doing the surveys. This is definitely not an overnight money maker, but if you're like me and don't find a lot to purchase in the Store, you'll be fine.
