Introduction: Getting Rid of That Annoying Power Save Mode Icon on an Android Phone!
For those of us using an android phone on power save mode, why the hell do we constantly need an icon reminding us that we are on Power save mode?
Answer me this Google:
Do we have short term memory to forget we prefer power save?
Does the stock cell phone have a mega battery pack that warrants power save a non issue?
Do we want an icon consuming valuable screen space?
The answers are NO! Google, PLEASE!
The requirements for this instructable are that you have a rooted phone and have installed autorun manager pro.
Step 1: Open Autorun Manager Pro.
Open the app and scroll to settings. Make sure to untick the power saving mode receiver. Don't worry, it won't stop the power saving function, only that stupid icon.
Step 2: Reboot the Phone and Enjoy!
I'm using a galaxy note 4 with a rooted stock of 4.4.4.
Now the annoying icon is gone and power save still functions!
