I posted a bracelet very similar to this a couple of years ago. I used a Celtic button knot to close it, with a loop system. Not sure if you can find it by searching through me, but you might like it for future bracelets, especially if you're new to knot work. Otherwise, nice idea with the mini 'biner, though I agree with the person above- always be wary making the 'my own invention' statement. It can cause a lot of problems if you aren't careful.

Good, simple first time instructable! However, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this idea isn't just your own. Nor is the knot. This knot is known as the Chain sinnet, and also goes by the following names; Daisy Chain, Monkey Chain, Monkey Braid, Single Trumpet Braid, Single Bugle Braid, Chain Stitch, Crochet Stitch, and Chain Braid.

A suggestion to not get in trouble around here... Don't put "this idea is my own invention(etc). Someone might come along and try to sue you. Not me, but someone. I already had a MAJOR company try to sue me over the use of their name. ?
