Step 2: Step 2: Cut the String

Step 3: Step 3: Create Cross Pattern

Create a cross pattern with the strings by placing string 2 in the horizontal position with string 1 on top in the vertical position. Grab the strings holding them together at the intersection.

Bring the right side of string 2 and cross it over the top of string 1. Also, bring the left side of string 2 and cross it over the bottom of string 1.

Now you should have two loops of string 2 around string 1.

Step 5: Step 5: Looping String 2 Around the Loops of String 1

Bring the top of string 1 over the upper loop of string 2 and under the lower loop of string 2. Bring the bottom of string 1 over the lower loop of string 2 and under the upper loop of string 2.

Grab the two ends of string 1 and make a loop over the basis with each ends of the string.

Take the left side of string 2 and go over the right loop and under the left loop.
