About: Let's get creative! ☆ Always use safety when crafting! ☆

☆ do you have clip-on earrings or screw-back earrings that are missing their flare? Give them new life and enjoy wearing them again or you can gift these beauties away! ☆

Supplies

• blank clip-on earrings (with no stones attached).

• flat back glass or crystals ( at least 2 for one set of earrings. 8mm diameter up to 13mm in diameter. Not to big because of weight, which may cause the earring to slip off your ear).

• cardboard nail file (to clean the surface of the earring that you intend on placing the epoxy for the flat back glass or crystals)

• 2 part epoxy resin ( I  used Gorilla glue 2 part epoxy).
• 1 toothpick ( for mixing and applying the epoxy).
• 1 small piece of cardboard or a disposable plastic lid ( for mixing the epoxy).

Step 1: Cleaning the Old Glue Off the Earring Base

Use the cardboard nail file to clean the surface of the earrings that you intend on placing the epoxy on for the flat back glass or crystals. With the file Remove any large bits of old glue... it's okay if the surface isn't completely free of the old glue, just try to remove most of it.

Step 2: Epoxy Time!

In a well ventilated area, with the toothpick mix the epoxy on a small piece of cardboard or plastic disposable lid.
With the toothpick, apply a small amount of epoxy to an earring were you cleaned the surface with the nail file. Then place flat back glass or crystal on the area of the epoxy on the earring. You can adjust the flat back glass or crystals before the epoxy dries. Let the epoxy dry or cure for 30 minutes or longer before wearing them.
