Glinda’s Training Wand Prop From Wicked 2024

Have you ever wanted Glinda’s training wand, but never ever wanted to spend your money on it? Behold, my cheaper, and easier, 5 minute alternative.

Supplies

You will need:

.Transparent chopstick or transparent paintbrush

.Polymer clay

.Silver paint or pen

.Black paint (optional)

Step 1: The Handle

First roll a piece of clay into a small orb shape. Then roll a thin layer of clay and warp it around the first half of the handle. Then use 2 thin strips of clay to embellish both sides of the handle. Then place the orb on the handle, shown in the picture.

Step 2: The Tip

Wrap the clay around the tip, then roll it to extend the tip. Then have a strip of clay to embellish the bottom part. Then you are ready to-

Step 3: Paint

If you have black then first add a layer of black, if not, then just coat it with a heavy coat of silver paint/pen. The reason there is no photo for this step is because I have already painted it, as shown in the photos before.

Step 4: Final Product!

Forgive the blurry photo, as you can see, the product is simple, yet accurate, if you would like the patterns on, then find a pen or a patterned object to press against the clay. I hope you enjoy your training wand prop!
